By now you know that my trip last summer was all about connections. While I was in Aspen Glade I noticed something pretty amazing and did a quick video about it.
As a Christian I believe that we all have one root source. Are you connected?
Even if you aren't a Christian you can still look at the world and see connections all around you.
I believe that we really are stronger together. Three cords are not easily broken. We were created to be in relationship with God and each other.
Life can be hard, very hard. I have found that when things start to feel a little overwhelming that I have not done a good job of staying in relationship (connection) with God and my core group of people. Sometimes it feels "easier" to just manage things on my own, to not "burden" anyone but the reality is that when I reach out to people that care about me and ask them for help, support, guidance, a listening ear that usually they get as much by giving me their gift of time as I do by them sharing with me.
The holiday season can be a heavy load to carry for some, if that is you, please reach out to someone so that they can give you the gift of their friendship in whatever form that takes.
