Who moved my comfort zone?

Are you feeling out of sorts?

If so, you are not alone.

Over the last few weeks, many people have been moved out of their comfort zone and into a brand-new place. Many people are NOT happy about this.  Change is hard, that is for sure. I am wondering though if it is really more of a perspective issue. If instead of being upset that your comfort zone has been moved/changed... What if you decided to choose to see it as an opportunity for growth and a challenge to do something different?

Last week I wrote about how important it is to know who you are and that has prompted me to offer my book, The Identity Key, in the Kindle version for a discounted price this week. If you or someone you know are looking to dig in a bit deeper to learn who you are then please consider ordering my book while it is at a reduced price.

I have been talking with several people that are truly struggling with what to do now. Now that they are not able to work. Not only do they not have money coming in they also don't know what to do with themselves because they don't know who they are outside of work.

Some people live their life wearing all these "roles". Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, Parent, Friend, Daughter, Son, Boss, Colleague, Christian, Artist - the list could go on and on. They are so busy living the life of that role that they never really learn how to be themselves. This is why you hear of so many people going through what most call a mid-life crisis, especially when their kids go away to school. They don't know who they are apart from that role.

I have been praying for our world to heal from COVID-19 and come out stronger because of it. One of the ways that I think we could be stronger would be for people to awaken to the idea that they really are special and were created for such a time as this. A time when they can use their talents to make the world a better place.

To do that though you have to know what your talents are. That is why I am offering a webinar to help you get a taste of what the WeAlign Strengths Alignment Process (what I call the "StrengthsFinder on Steroids") can help you learn more about who God created you to be and maybe, just maybe you can put on the role of "best self ever". By doing that I believe the world really could be a better place.
